WHAT is driving the growth of the resource and mining industry in the Bowen Basin?
That was the hot topic at the Bowen Basin Coal and Energy conference at the MECC yesterday.
Queensland Resources Council communications director Jim Devine spoke on the drivers for a golden era of growth. The key point of his presentation, he said, was what was driving growth in the resource sector.
“It is very clear that urbanisation of Asia and other developing economies, particularly China and India, are opening up enormous possibilities for Queensland and energy exports,” Mr Devine said. Read More
