A company proposing to drill for coal seam gas (CSG) in Sydney's inner west has not ruled out using controversial fracking methods to extract the resource.
Representatives of Dart Energy faced angry residents at a meeting in St Peters last night.
Malcolm Bucking told the meeting it was unlikely fracking would take place, but not because of community concerns.
"We probably won't be fracking coal seams under Sydney, because coal seams under Sydney aren't conducive to fracking," Mr Bucking said. Read More
