Residents will have the opportunity to voice their opinion on coal mining and coal seam gas exploration and extraction in the Upper Hunter Shire at a community forum next month.
The Upper Hunter Shire Council will hold the forum as part of its investigation, which also includes a trip to Roma and Dolby early next week.
The community forum will be held on Monday, September 5 and Tuesday, September 6 at the council chambers.
Building on their current research and knowledge, the forum will allow the councillors to be accurately informed to make their determination on future exploration and extraction in the shire. Read More
