Putty:

Kathy McKenzie from the Putty Community Association says she was told drill rigs would start mid to late September but has since learned they will begin on Monday.

"Their approval was given on the first of July and they should have notified ...the neighbouring properties immediately," she said.

"I was told that they have a man up in Putty who is going around notifying the neighbours and that is five days away from the start of drilling."
