FARMERS have resorted to locking their gates to stop coal seam gas companies entering their properties and exploring.
One farmer was even offered a holiday - the latest tactic used by coal seam explorers to get their people on to his farm. As the coal seam gas industry looks to bring its controversial processes - possibly including fracking - from Queensland to NSW, farmers are worried about soil contamination and what is being done to protect water resources and food security.
