MAYOR Peter Taylor has come to the defence of Cr Noel Strohfeld after he had allegations of corruption levelled at him during a mining forum in Oakey this week.
Cr Strohfeld was accused of receiving a $10,000 payout in 2007 from a mining company when he was mayor of Rosalie Shire Council.
The inflammatory claim was made during the Forum on Australia's Food Security, hosted by shock-jock Alan Jones at the Oakey Cultural Centre on Thursday night. Read More
