CSG Backlash Heats Up

AN alliance of Queensland and New South Wales landholders is determined to stop coal seam gas (CSG) companies from forcing their way onto farming land.
The Lock the Gate Alliance recently responded to CSG companies' evidence at a Senate inquiry into the industry, where company executives said they would use the law to override landowners' wishes.

Lock the Gate Alliance president Drew Hutton said the companies were threatening to force landowners who didn't wish to have CSG drilling on their property into court. Read More
