THE Gladstone region must play a waiting game before hearing the final requirements imposed on Gladstone's next LNG facility.
The council had a lengthy discussion about the environmental impact statement put forward by Arrow Energy recently.
That EIS has been submitted to Queensland's Coordinator General, who will have the final say on what conditions, social and environmental, are imposed on the project.
The report presented to council by its director of planning and environment Elisa Dowling revealed the extent of concern about Arrow's EIS.
Councillors were irate over Arrow's EIS, which it said failed to adequately take into account the project's full impact on social infrastructure in the region.
