WORK by coal seam gas company Metgasco on a wastewater pond at Shannon Brook resumed yesterday - five days after a man chained himself to a bulldozer at the site.
Work stopped at the site about 7km south-west of Casino on Wednesday after East Lismore man Davey Bob Ramsay entered the site before dawn.
Mr Ramsay remained chained to the bulldozer until about 10.50am when he was removed by police.
Anti-coal seam gas protestors under the banner of Lock the Gate Northern Rivers have remained at the site since.
