ADELAIDE-BASED Maloney Field Services is opening two new offices in Queensland as the firm takes on more business through mining and coal seam gas projects.
The property consultancy that started in Adelaide in 1970 and has expanded to Brisbane, Melbourne, Darwin and Newcastle, now has 30 per cent of its 60-strong workforce based in Queensland.
Maloney Field Services managing director Peta Mantzarapis said most of the work came through property valuation and land access consultations. "We are about to open two regional offices to give those working in the field somewhere to base themselves," Ms Mantzarapis said.
"With so many projects either under way or being proposed in regional Queensland, to provide the service our clients expect, you need to have a local presence to understand the community."
