Legal action to try and stop a coal seam gas project near Gloucester continues in the Land and Environment Court today.
Yesterday, the court was told the environmental impact of the mining project has not been properly assessed.
The Barrington Gloucester Stroud Preservation Alliance is challenging the New South Wales Government's approval of an AGL plan to drill more than 300 gas wells in the valley.
The group's lawyers have argued that drilling and fracking will affect more than two million litres of water a day and the full environmental impact is not yet known.
The project was approved with conditions in February but the preservation alliance says the project has not been properly regulated.
