Coal mining and coal seam gas developments will be the hot topics at a forum for the region's state election candidates.
PEOPLE are invited to a state election candidates forum where the hot topics will be coal mining and coal seam gas developments.
The forum will be held at Gowrie Junction Community Hall, Old Homebush Rd, from 6.30 - 10pm on Saturday, March 10.
Householders' Options to Protect the Environment (HOPE) president Frank Ondrus said the community was keen to question election candidates on where they stood on coal and coal seam gas mining impacts.
They will also be probed on their environmental credentials.
"The candidate's forum committee is now inviting questions to be submitted from members of the community.
"These will then be consolidated and put to a panel of election candidates during the forum evening," Mr Ondrus said.
