I’m currently out in north west NSW seeing some of the country and the coal and gas projects that are sprawled across the landscape out here. Today I’ve been at Leard State Forest near the small township of Maules Creek. Maules Creek is between Narrabri and Gunnedah.
The Maules Creek community spent today at a picnic protest at the gates of the Boggabri open-cut coal mine to protest plans for three more open-cuts and expansions further into the forest.
