The nationwide National Day of Action Against Coal Seam Gas, co-ordinated by Lock the Gate Alliance, is on this Sunday, October 16.
There will be large rallies in Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle, with smaller events being held in communties, inlcuding Gloucester, across the state.
The rally in Gloucester has been organised by the Barrington-Gloucester-Stroud Preservation Alliance and will be held in the Billabong Park starting at 1pm. The event is timed to coincide with the conclusion of the Women’s Gathering to allow delegates to that event to also join the rally. A number of community members have agreed to speak and a couple of prominent guest speakers have been invited to share their views. The program will also include a comedy skit.
