INTERNATIONAL mining company Arrow Energy says ``it's too early to tell at this stage'' if it will commercially drill for coal seam gas (CSG) south of Jimboomba.
An Arrow Energy spokeswoman said the company was planning to drill a further four exploration wells before the end of 2011.
``In parallel with undertaking these works, we will provide information to the community about our planned activities through local media,'' she said.
Member for Beaudesert Aidan McLindon said he had asked the State Government to make the Scenic Rim area ``a no-go zone'' for CSG.
``I know mining companies are sniffing around the whole of the Scenic Rim and the whole area is under the potential threat of it,'' he said.
