RADIO shock jock Alan Jones has launched a blistering attack on the coal seam gas industry.
During an address to the National Press Club, Mr Jones said both sides of politics were "in bed" with the CSG industry and said CSG posed massive risks to prime agricultural land, underground water and public health.
Mr Jones is waging a campaign against mining on prime agricultural land, having also addressed a rally on the topic last week.
"Miners are equipped to … rip off and rob the farmers," Mr Jones said.
"No-one wants to be the last man holding out and mining companies prey on that."
Areas of NSW and Queensland were about to become a "pin cushion of CSG projects", according to Mr Jones.
