AGL is positioning itself to supply as much as 15 per cent of NSW gas supplies over the next few years, once it has brought on-stream the planned expansion of its Camden gas project.
The project already supplies an estimated 6 per cent of the state's gas supplies, which will more than double once delayed expansion plans are in place.
Camden has approval for 130 wells, while the so-called northern expansion would add another 72 wells, with AGL confirming 12 additional ''well surface locations'', which will have as many as six well heads each.
