An audit of NSW's coal seam gas (CSG) exploration sites has ignored spills and leaks in the state's north, the Greens say.
The state government ordered the audit last year to address environmental concerns about CSG mining.
The NSW Department of Trade and Investment report, released last week, found CSG explorers were complying to a high degree with their licence conditions.
Out of 1355 licence conditions audited, only five per cent were found to be noncompliant.
