Lilly, Jess, and Norman Coleman, of Tucabia, with their anti-CSG Lock the Gate sign
FARMERS and greenies are not the only ones opposing coal-seam gas (CSG) mining and exploration.
The latest recruit to the campaign to lock the gate against mining companies is a mother of two from Tucabia.
Jess Coleman attended the last CSG information meeting in South Grafton and became incensed at the potential dangers to groundwater and environment.
"I rang the Coastal Alliance Against Coal Seam Gas and asked if they could do a meeting in our community," Miss Coleman said.
Her Tucabia CSG information meeting this Friday night will include maps of district locations earmarked for exploration.
