Rally: Deliver a Message to the Premier: Stop Coal Seam Gas!

When:    Tuesday 22nd November, 2011 Where:   Hyde Park North fountain, Near Elizabeth & Macquarie Sts, next to St James               Station, Sydney, Australia Time:     12.00pm - 2.00pm March to State Parliament, Macquarie St, to hand over 15,000 petitions against CSG to Premier Barry O'Farrell! Speakers include: Drew Hutton (Lock The Gate president); Jess Moore (Stop CSG Illawarra) + other community speakers Over 15,000 residents of NSW have signed a petition for: * An immediate moratorium on all CSG projects; * A Royal commission into the full impacts of CSG; and * An immediate ban on fracking. Premier Barry O'Farrell has pledged that any petition with over 10,000 signatures will trigger a debate in parliament. Be there when the voice of more than 15,000 people from across NSW is presented to Barry O'Farrell in person! Demonstrate community opposition to CSG, help ensure the spotlight is on this debate and remind the government who they work for!
