Death, Politics, Foreign Invaders, Justice and Cricket Cheats

THIS week's top 10:
1. Three weeks ago Julia Gillard failed to get support in parliament for her revised Malaysian non-solution.

As of last night we've had seven illegal boats arrive and a mounting death toll from an eighth.

This fiasco joins a conga line of stuff-ups. Little wonder Kevin Rudd supporters are counting heads.

2. If there is a change of PM we should be headed to the polls. Tony Windsor, Rob Oakeshott and Andrew Wilkie said their deal was with Julia Gillard and no one else.

3.Windsor also gets my vote for "wily old fox of the year". He sells his farm to a coal mining company for a price three times what his neighbours got and then leases the farm back.

He drops in the polls in his electorate but then rides over the ridge denouncing coal seam gas mining in his area and all of a sudden he's the hero again. Gotta love a pragmatist.
