A COMPANY operating one of the nation's largest coal seam gas operations made a series of water releases last December in breach of environmental regulation.
Arrow Energy was accused in the flood inquiry this morning of failing to take measures to protect the environment during last summer's floods.
The inquiry heard Arrow Energy made a number of water releases connected with its Moranbah Gas Project last December technically in breach of environmental regulation.
Alan MacSporran, SC, representing the State Government, suggested the unscheduled releases into the Isaac River followed Arrow's failure to create adequate water management infrastructure.
