Farmers Vow More Blockades Against CSG

Farmers are threatening more demonstrations and blockades unless they're given added power to keep coal seam gas miners off their land.

Mining giant Santos told a NSW parliamentary inquiry on Thursday it did not force its way on to farmers' land.

It also announced it would cancel plans to build a CSG pipeline in the state's north and central west following community unrest.

President Fiona Simson has predicted more demonstrations unless the law is changed so farmers can stop miners from doing exploratory drilling on their land.
