NORTHERN River's protesters are continuing to stand with farmers at Kerry, near Beaudesert, as they blockade a drill site in an effort to force Arrow Energy to conduct base line water testing before drilling commences.
Keerrong Gas Squad member Ian Gaillard spent Saturday at the blockade and said about 20 other Northern River's residents were there.
Protest spokeswoman Heidi Ross said Arrow representatives had on Saturday agreed to negotiate with the group.
"Arrow Executive Tony Knight came to the site and agreed to start discussions with the blockade to thrash out an agreement," Ms Ross said.
