THE Farmers Association has demanded more information about what criteria the government is using to draw up its strategic land use plans.

‘‘Basically, the Nats are pushing for greater protection from coal seam gas mining than the Libs,’’ a source told the Newcastle Herald.
Two areas of potential conflict include Pokolbin and the Liverpool Plains.
