Facing a tight Federal Budget, the National Farmers Federation says it doesn't want as much money for agriculture this year, but it still has a wish list.
The NFF says the drought reform trial needs to be extended. It says the Western Australian drought reform pilot needs another year.
The NFF also wants $60 million spent on biosecurity.
The President Jock Laurie is worried Australia's not prepared for foot and mouth disease, and not learnt from the UK outbreak.
"It did incredible damage to the agricultural sector, and incredible damage to the economy in Britain, and it would do exactly the same thing in Australia," he says.
The lobby group also wants more money to study how chemicals are used in Coal Seam gas projects.
