FARMERS lobby group AgForce has hit back at claims that it was hypocritical to host Coal Seam Gas workshops, after drawing criticism from the Wide Bay Burnett Environment Council.
Following a meeting hosted by AgForce in Tiaro last week to educate landholders about their rights when dealing with CSG mining companies, environment council president Roger Currie accused the lobby group of being a "toothless tiger".
"It appears that AgForce have considered CSG to be a fait accompli for Queensland agriculture," Mr Currie said.
