On Jan. 30, 2012 my wife and I decided to journey to the dark side. We attended a tea party-sponsored event on fracking.
I will give the party its due, as members managed a meeting that didn't get out of control.
The downside was that I had to listen to an hour-long dissertation promoting the gas and oil industry. The questioning format only allowed for screened questions. The only reason the oil companies go along with having these meetings at all is to say that they did inform everyone.
