Former Queensland Premier Peter Beattie will be at AIMEX (Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition) today, in his new role as the federal government’s Resources Sector Supplier Envoy, talking to manufacturers about ways they can do business with the booming resources market.
Beattie will be holding a press conference at AIMEX, which is being held at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
Beattie’s new role as Australia’s first Resources Sector Supplier Envoy will be to work with local manufacturers as part of the government’s Buy Australia at Home and Abroad initiative.
