In this bulletin, Santos has today acknowledged four leaks of nearly 4,000 litres of untreated coal seam gas water in the Pilliga State Forest since it took over the licence from Eastern Star Gas in November; about 130 people have turned out to a public meeting in Werris Creek to discuss the impact of the MAC Services Group's proposed mining village and Graincorp's legal challenge to that facility; Tamworth Regional Council says 15 extra parking meters in the CBD will help fund more parking options elsewhere; and Red Cross workers have been knocking on doors in Moree to support flood victims.
