Protestors gather at Acland last year after blocking front entrance to New Hope Mine.
PROTESTORS will today march on the Acland mine coal dump with the intention of blockading it and locking it down.
The Lock the Gate Alliance and the Oakey Coal Action Alliance have organised the action at Jondaryan to oppose the stage three application for New Hope Coal's mine.
The march will be attended by a number of prominent public officials including Greens senator Larissa Waters, Bob Katter and Katter's Australian Party State leader Aidan McLindon.
Radio personality Alan Jones will also take part in the protest.
The action will begin at noon with particpants gathering at the open ground on the eastern end of Jondaryan from 11.30am.
