The majority of Queenslanders are either opposed to coal seam gas extraction or are undecided about it, according to the latest Newspoll.
Forty per cent of voters said they were not in favour of the industry, while 27 per cent remain uncommitted to the issue, the Newspoll published in The Australian newspaper shows.
Among those opposed to coal seam gas there was no obvious trend in political party preference, with Labor and LNP voters opposing it almost equally.
