GREENPOWER Energy Limited's drilling program for brown coal areas in the Latrobe Valley has been completed, with the company reporting an initial 306 million tonnes of coal for its local EL4500 permit.
A number of sources, including the Mines and Money website, reported these results recently.
They said Greenpower Energy Limited's drilling program in the Valley had seen it undertake 14 air core and rotary mud drill holes across four exploration licences.
It has been reported under the company's EL4500 licence covering an area to the west of Moe, an initial JORC standard Inferred Resource of 306 million tonnes had been calculated.
JORC refers to the Australian code which sets standards for the reporting of exploration results, ore reserve and mineral resources.
