Rural lobby group AgForce says it is worried regional and rural issues will slip off the Queensland election agenda.
AgForce president Brent Finlay says the campaign will be focused in the state's south-east corner because that is where the major parties need to win seats to win government.
But he says the agricultural sector also needs attention, with key issues including land use and road and rail infrastructure.
"Getting the balance right between agriculture and the resources industry - that's the coal seam gas industry and mining," he said.
"Certainty of land tenure, particularly leasehold land is really important.
