MEMBER for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead has hit back at Federal member for Lyne Rob Oakeshott following Mr Oakeshott's criticism of him for a "lack of clarity" on the coal seam gas issue.
Last Friday, Mr Oakeshott called on Mr Bromhead to "urgently clarify his view on coal seam gas in the Manning and how it aligns with NSW government announcements in the Budget papers to expand coal seam gas".
His call came after the State's peak CSG body, the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association, claimed that CSG royalties would play a vital role in 'rebuilding the State's financial position'.
Mr Bromhead hit back this week, speaking from his bed in John Hunter Hospital where he continues to recover from a sickening incident in the parliament last week.
