Farmers in a small community on upper Eyre Peninsula say there is strong opposition to a proposed multi-billion-dollar mine in the region.
Mining company Iron Road has met residents of Waramboo over what the company says is potentially the state's biggest iron ore resource.
Farmer David Murphy is worried he could be forced off prime agricultural land his family has had for four generations.
"I having sleepless nights, the stress of it all is not good, it's the unknown that's got us," he said.
"There's a lot of feeling in the meeting here we don't want it to happen as a community in general."
