A hotly debated proposal to deliver gas from Narrabri to a facility at Kooragang Island has been met with mixed reactions during a community information session in Morpeth.
Opposers and supporters of the Eastern Star Gas coal seam gas project gathered at St James’ Anglican Church Hall yesterday to express their views on the issue.
“The pipeline will come from Coolah into Newcastle, so it will run right through the Maitland area,” Wilderness Society community campaigner Prue Bodsworth said. Read More
