Coal seam gas exploration is threatening Australia's water
supply and food security.

member for New England, who wants to slow the controversial exploration for coal
seam gas.

Commonwealth some power to check the impact on the water supply.
It coincides with a federal senate inquiry into what has
mostly been fought out on a state level.
