Gloucester meets to discuss review of AGL exploration plans

A public meeting held in Gloucester discussed AGL's report into gas exploration in the area.

It is like a tightrope walk - balancing the interests of big business versus concerns of local people who just want to ensure the environment is protected.

Particularly the precious resource of water.

You may have been following the Barrington Gloucester Stroud Preservation Alliance's blockade last year in response to proposed AGL coal seam gas exploration in their area.

Last night the Alliance is holding a public meeting where a keynote speaker Professor Philip Pells will give a presentation.
