Anglo Coal: Grosvenor Project

Anglo Coal (Grosvenor) Pty Ltd has lodged an application for a new environmental authority under Chapter 5 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 in relation to mining lease (ML) 70378 for the purpose of open-cut mining of high quality coking coal for the export market.

The following activities have been applied for:

• mining black coal
• chemical storage
• abrasive blasting
• boiler making
• crushing, milling, grinding or screening
• regulated waste storage
• sewage treatment.

Project location

The Grosvenor Project is located north of Moranbah in Central Queensland, between the township of Moranbah to the south and the Moranbah North Coal Mine mining lease to the north.
