Centius Gold - Drilling commences at Mary's Dream gold project

Sydney, 12 December 2011: Australian gold and base metals exploration company, Centius Gold Limited (ASX:CNS), has announced that a 2,000m reverse circulation (RC) drilling program will today commence at the Mary's Dream prospect near Forbes, on the Lachlan Fold Belt in New South Wales. The Forbes project is located in the vicinity of world-class projects, including the Northparkes and Cowal mines.

Surface geological and geochemical mapping delineated two anomalous gold zones across approximately 200 m by 400 m, covering multiple historical gold workings.

In addition, a trial Mobile Metal Ion Geochemistry (MMI) survey is currently being undertaken at Lanahan's Corner on the 212km2 Bobo gold project in the New England Fold Belt. This trial survey will test the coincident magnetic response and base metal rock chip anomaly. Results are due in early 2012.

Centius Managing Director John Slade commented: "Centius is excited about the Mary's Dream drilling program, as this is on the same mineralisation structure as the Peak Hill-Tominglee Gold Prospect and the Forbes Gold Mine.
