Adele Coombs with June Norman on the Walk For a Future into Gladstone
GYMPIE Water, Air and Soil Protection Group members Adele Coombs and Jeff Douwes joined the Walk for a Future into Gladstone this week as part of the anti-gas development protest.
Adele joined June Norman, a 71-year-old great grandmother, who walked the entire length of the 500km coal seam gas/liquefied natural gas pipeline route from Dalby to Gladstone.
June carried a flag all the way which read "Reef & Beef VS Coal & Gas".
June was supported by Potts Driscoll and his little dog, Bindi, who walked much of the way with June.
