Greens and their crazy cronies are holding a gun to our head

THE Australian economy is under attack from international forces allied to Prime Minister Julia Gillard's minority government partner, the Greens.

Worse, Greenpeace and other environmental extremists associated with the Greens are registered as charitable organisations in Australia and are exempt from normal tax laws.

Senator Bob Brown, the Greens leader, has endorsed a Greenpeace campaign to raise $6 million to fight proposals new coal mines at a time when the only sector of the economy showing real signs of life is the mining industry.

With the support and encouragement of the Greens, a UN mission has demanded tougher environmental controls be placed on the expansion of ports necessary to meet the increasing demand for coal and gas exports.

It is about 70km from Gladstone, where recent port dredging has attracted environmental activists to the Great Barrier Reef.
