Queensland farmers are asking voters in the key Brisbane seat of Ashgrove to think hard about the threat of mining destroying agricultural land and water.
Busloads of Queensland farmers have congregated in Ashgrove, some of them travelling hundreds of kilometres, to march on the major political parties' campaign offices.
The Queensland Greens and Katter's Australian Party, the only parties to call for a 12-month moratorium on coal seam gas mining, have joined the farmers at Monday's protest.
