More than 150 people converged on the Ipswich Turf Club at Bundamba on Monday night to hear from the seven candidates who will contest the Ipswich electorate at the March 24 State poll.

Incumbent Ipswich MP Rachel Nolan has rejected suggestions Labor will be forced to choose a new leader after the March 24 election, telling the crowd it was inconceivable Anna Bligh would lose her seat.
