Billionaire mining magnate Clive Palmer is in talks with global giant ExxonMobil over the right to explore his expansive gas deposits in Papua New Guinea, according to The Australian Financial Review.
According to the report, Exxon first approached Mr Palmer with a proposed “farm-out” arrangement in 2010, and the parties held further discussions late last year.
