Victorian Environment Minister Ryan Smith has agreed to sell his shares, after allegations of a conflict of interest.
Mr Smith owns shares in two mining companies involved in coal seam gas exploration and a solar energy firm that received a Government grant.
The Opposition and environment groups say it is inappropriate for the Environment Minister to hold shares linked to his portfolio.
