On the NSW Country Hour today, a clinical psychologist has told the first public hearing of the NSW Upper House inquiry into the coal seam gas industry that farmers will become more violent, depressed and even suicidal in the face of what they perceive as the threat of mining, the CSIRO and Minatour Exploration are trying a new technique to dissolve gold while its still captured in rock underground and it could reduce the need for open cut mining, grain analyst Lloyd George talks about commodity prices as the global sense of unease and worry looms over markets, plus livestock markets and weather information.
