Who would have ever thought the day would come when farmers and greenies would
come together in one accord and put aside their historical contempt for each
other to fight alongside the other for any cause? In recent times across
regional Queensland, that's exactly what they have done, for mostly the right
reasons.
With the exception of a few rent-a-crowd gatherings of supposedly
tried and true opponents of CSG belonging to the Alan Jones crowd, the vast
majority of farmers and enviromentalists who have joined forces in opposition
to unregulated coal seam gas extraction on privately owned properties across
Queensland & New South Wales have stuck to the script and most of the time
have not gone in half cocked when outlining their case against coal seam gas.
