Member for Kiama Gareth Ward has welcomed the release of a draft Code of Practice for Coal Seam Gas explorers and new Community Consultation Guidelines as part of a suite of tough controls regulating the industry under the NSW Govern�ment's Strategic Lands package.
Mr Ward is calling for community feedback on the draft code and new guidelines.
"The draft code has been released for public comment for eight weeks to allow the community and stakeholders to have a say," he said.
